I think, it will violate the privacy of passengers. Though one still camera should be there which can take snap once the journey starts. it will help to give security and as well as no voilation towards the privacy.

It's good for the safety of drivers and passengers alike.
The driver if attacked at night, don't you think that the criminals will not do anything about the camera and tape or whatever it has?
