I was offered a 7,000 AED package, includeing accommodation allowance. If I accept it I will be moving to Dubai soon. The question is Should I accept it in view of living standard in UAE?
The job is to operate and trouble shoot a production line, a position which requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, it's lower than Line technician. I have a 3-year work experience.
What do you think? Should I accept this offer? Can I live and save in Dubai?
Is this job offer good for Dubai?

no way! I wouldn't accept such a low offer.. You can hardly scrape by on it and Dubai offers such a lifestyle you will probably feel very tempted to spend the little you could save (if you go cheap).. So, no! Don't.
If your housing wasn't included in the offer, then that would have really been an unacceptable offer, however if the company provides you with accommodation - it's not great really, but if you go cheap you can afford to go out for a pizza twice a week.
Phone - 200 dirhams
Food - about 1.000 dirhams
Fuel - about 200 dirhams
toiletries, cosmeticos - 200 dirhams
A friend also got a package deal for 6000 dirhams, even with a company car and housing.... NOT enough. She always struggles by the end of the month. You may think you can save bute but there is always something coming up to say bye-bye to your money, a fine here, a medical cost there, small things that make up big expenses.
So, my answer is NO - do not accept unless you ar every disciplined on saving.
