In addition if any could help sort out if jobsindubai (dot) com is a good place to apply for a job??
Is it legal for recruitment agencies to charge registration fees?

Totally illegal, especially since they do not provide any extra service for that fee. There are many unscrupulous agents out there looking for prey.
A recruitment agency in Dubai charged me AED 100. I was called to go to their premises for an "interview" for a position I found later didn't exist. There were so many people in their office, I had to wait a lot,, perhaps 40-50 min. While I was there they held interviews (for which they charged) about 4-5 people until it was my turn to unload my cash. I felt very stupi when I realized it's all false. It is illegal - go to the Ministry of Labour website and you will find it somewhere, or ask somebady at the Ministry, but just don't get defrauded!
what's the name of this company, nadeemp? let's name and shame them
Me also paid 100 dhs, for them 1 year before, they offered me Very good job with good salary, accommodation, visa, air ticket and leave salary... etc. but I realize that I am not eligible for such a facilities ... because they didn't interviewed me , they didn't ask me anything about my skills . just collected my CV and 100 dhs. after 2 days they called me and asking to join , and bring 700 dhs.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

When I go there after this call I saw lots of people waiting for their money back...
