Dubai: be careful with forex and stock market gossip

Investors and even some forex traders have long complained about the insider trading culture in the Gulf. It is common for insiders to buy rumors and sell facts, as a quick glance at the charts of companies listed on Dubai and Abu Dhabi exchanges prove. Just before an important corporate announcement, shares would spike, as insiders are buying. Dubai is perceived by many stock and forex traders as a frontier market - one where it's difficult and dangerous to trade. But then which market is easy to trade? Check what happened on the New York Stock Exchange on May 06, 2010.

There is no market that is safe to trade. Even in US the flash crash proved that to be true. People were wiped out because their stops did not trigger. It is getting crazy in the forex trading markets too.
