I've heard many people say the American Hospital in Dubai is real c*ap - that it looks more like a corporate money-making establishment, low quality service but Overpriced at the same time? Is that true?

I have found the Emirates Hospital to be very good. A close friend of mine was more than satisfied with the service at the Zahra centre.
Although not everything is really good at the Emirates hospital - x-rays get performed on the wrong part of the body, question do not get answered fully. Some of the doctors (Arabs and Indians) are very condescending and talk TO you, and do not regard you as a partner in the healing process. They talked to me like I wa s a child.
Welcare and NMC are also c*rap, by the way

I agree with reem. Cedars Jebel Ali is very good. The specialists, the GP and even the dentists are good.
