Starting search in Sept from UK for a job in March in Dubai .. is that realistic?

Hi there,

My husband is currently a Project Manager within Telecom (+10y experience) and my job is in testing softwares (+7y exp). We have come to the conclusion that it would be a good step for our family to relocate to Dubai for few years. We thought that since I'm Arab of origin, it will be good for my husband (French) and out kids (11 and 4) to learn Arabic while in there; I'll help! promised :-)

The idea would be for P. to start sending his CV around from Sept targetting March09, this will give him time to complete his trial period and look for schools for our kids. If it's all positive then I'll ask for the necessary docs from schools for the transfer etc... I will also would have started looking for a job after P. The idea would be for me to start after July09 so that the kids can finish their educational year.

YOU (dear people) who have had this experience, who are well placed to know, please can you help with your comments, very appreciated!

- Really would love to have few solid friends from here, few questions I'd like to ask about my serious hobby which I teach and practice at a professional level in UK now.
