Who's to blame - Land Cruiser or drivers?

I was recently drivng a Land Cruiser from Abu Dhabi to Dubai and my experience was that all the cars in front were automatically moving to the right, even without me flashing my lights. I felt like a sheikh. It's strange cos I have been reading that it's because of the drivers that people move to the right. But in fact they only see Land Crusier and it means get out of my way.
So, who is the real trouble on the roads.?

maybe people who own Land Cruisers are more reckless drivers and this is why everyone is getting out of their way Wink

of course if you hit a Land Cruiser or an 4x'4 car its really expensive and might wreck your car as well. so it's better to give way to them than to suffer a lot because of them!

It's because a land cruiser is huge like a tank behind you, so you want to make space.. of course many times the driver is agressive, and if it has happened to you many times that someone flashes, then next time you make space even if the driver isn't agressive

I've got a plan for the flashing Land Cruisers....
Put a horizontal full length concave mirror on the back of your car.... when the guy flashes, it would reflect back a much more intense light into his eyes.

BOTH are to blame

It's already in the mindset of people in the UAE, that most of the Land Cruisers or big Toyotas, etc. are owned by Emiratis, so they are treated as the Sheikhs of UAE on the roads.
(by the way, Sheiks rule if there are accidents)
