Pronunciation!

well, there's a sound in arabic which is believed to be pronounced correctly only by the arabs. Yes I am talking about the 'Swad' with a Nukta(dot) on top of it!! Is it dh or zh???

I believe you are referring to the alphabet  'dhadh' ض

Arabic is sometimes called the language of the 'dhadh' for the reason you've mentioned.

I have difficulty in pronouncing 'swad' though.

Hey thanks a lot. Yes I know that Arabic is called the language od daadh " Lisan ud Daadh!!' I hope that was right!.

 

Well, Swaad is very simple. Its an alphabet from Urdu. But, thanks a lot for replying.

There's a drink called 'arswusw' عرصوص which is said to be very healthy but i can never manage to order it.

Hey,

     Swad is pronounced as S. So, from what I read in Arabic, it will be probably pronounced as "ARSOOS"!!!!!
