I have come to know of a person who has got a fake degree certificate and working in dubai. i know the whereabouts of that person also. what should i do know. Should i post the entire details starting from the passport number etc., in this forum or should i inform the authorities or should i mind my work. i am confused. anadubawi users kindly suggest. I am looking forward to suggestions from u all.

Its really appreciable that the country has foregone the new year celebrations for a noble cause. i salute His Highness for such a decision.
I think it's better not to involve in this matter, as long as u know this can make a lot of problems to that person and i think u don't wanna do evil acts to people right?All our intentions r recordered in our book,as for me in this case i prefer just to leave everything in Allah's will.If God wants for sure will make a way for that person to pay for his actions.Let the authorithies do their job !
you are right sara. i do agree that god will punish those who cheat. but everyone thinks in the same way, then who will take steps to stop these culprits. I dont beleive in God punishing them at their age of 70. before that many 20-30s in their lifetime are devoid of an opportunity of a work and make a living. i dont think it is wrong to destroy a plant that is harmful to the plantations and save hundreds, if not thousands. may be this theif can spread this disease further and one lie leads to another and one thief will support another thief only. if he leads a company in the future, education will lose its value and will become absolute property of the rich and will be made available in the supermarkets. imagine a display board in every supermarket reading "degrees available".
Let the authorities do their job. What you can do is inform the respective department.
Why would you disclose anybody's passport details in website? What's going on ?
zaz, i just dont mean only the passport details. i mean to say the whole details which can prove the culprits real identity. passport will have the ecnr status which shows his self declarations as a professional and also thought that if i provide all the details, there would be someone who visits this site with the official authority. he might do the actions. the rest he will be taking care.
I understand your point, vaidhee - it is unfair for somebody to pretend he has qualifications and take the job that a genuinely qualified person is suppoesed to take.
On the other hand, posting passport datas here or anywhere else is also not fair.
My advice is you go report the person to the Authorities (the Ministry of Labor)

You can visit labour department websites and post details in the suggestion/complaint form or else you can call on their helpline.
you can request them to keep your identity secret.

morality vs. conscience...this is a tough pick. on one hand it is not your job and u shud avoid trouble, but on the other it is hard to keep eyes closed when you know something wrong is happening. i am in a similar situation with something else....and i have decided not to report him in the mean time. this is a battle you have to fight with yourself
