well it seems that the authorities took action - the two pilots resigned, right?
it's wierd they resign and were not fired
maybe they wanted to resign as quickly as possible so they are not punished, maybe it was their mistake, and not any mechanical error with the airplane
oh, this reminds me of a flight I was on... it got so scary at one point because of the turbulence, I felt like I was flying in a straw and not a plane. I really hate flying but my job requires me to fly quite often.
