One of Dubai’s most popular beach hotels has issued guests with an
“etiquette guide” after two Britons were convicted for having sex on
the beach near the hotel.

The etiquette guides, which suggest the hotel’s guests could be
arrested for inappropriate public displays, are left on tables during
the weekly brunch event at the Madinat Jumeirah hotel.
The guests should "employ discretion" in expressing affection
publicly, says the hotel, with "anything more than a peck on the cheek"
likely to result in police involvement.
The two Britons convicted last month of having sexual intercourse
outside marriage and offending public decency, were Michelle Palmer and
Vince Acors. They were arrested after attending brunch at a hotel near
Dubai airport.

The issue is this - people choose to go on
holiday to these places and should research their destination
before making reservations. If they don't like the rules then they
should never go there
Maybe the hotel should rethink the unlimited booze, too
Ahhh the delights of making love in the moonlight!
)))
Now it's forbidden. What a pity ;-(( ha ha
It is not first time in Dubai alwasy happening since I know. After some time you will see it will free again.
Actually rule is there only thing is that when to regulate. It hapend so many time. Still peple are crazy about Dubai. It is the real magic of Dubai. This will not reduce tourist attraction more will come to offre trillion of Dhirram again and again
It's not a bad idea to have these etiquette guides, as Dubai is known outside not only for nice hotels and palm trees but also as a travel destination with good night life.
a small pocket guide couldnt hurt. apparently some people travel w/o taking the time to read up on the host country's rules and regulations. it is called simple RESPECT - these idiots apparently didnt have any. what a joke this story has become....
