I want to take out a pay tv subscription via Du over the next month. Does anyone here know what the difference in content is between the Orbit and the Showtime packages ? Which one has better Premier League coverage ?

if you are only interested in sports then I guess Showtime is for you. it's better. But basically Tv here is lots of re-runs, same stuff.. For movies and shows, you can use some torrent sites
thanx freckles but with so many torrent downloads banned in Dubai, what sites precisely do you use for downloading?
There are many such sites out there. For example check Rapidshare -- you do pay a modest fee for membership but you get full speed downloads.
Tehre are many other sites. Just google them. I hope they don't get banned.

Showtime shows live with the repeats. The Orbit package isn't bad either, but you won't see as much sports as you may desire. good luck!
I wouldn't use du if I were you. it will take them two months to install your tv. they are rather unprofessional. They ddon;t ring to tell you they won't come on the set date or anything. Very unserious!!
