Hi everyone, just after some information on the general cost of a three/four bedroom house in Dubai. I'm After information on what sort of deposits landlords are after and the monthly rental fees - I know they are different for differing areas, so I,m after a good family orienated area thats close to good schooling etc.

The payment term would depend on the location of the place you're renting. In areas such as Emirates Hill, Dubai Marina, Green Community you'd very probably have to pay the rent annually in 1 or 2 cheques (ie, by 6 or 12 months). But i know friends living in other areas (International City, Satwa, Bur Dubai, Deira) pay their rent monthly with 2-month deposit upfront.
You should be looking at AED180K-AED240K for a 3-4 bedroom for the former. There are some new residentials like International City, Mirdiff - a bit distant from the busy area, where you can find a 3-bedroom for AED150K.
Emirates Hill and Green Communities are popular choice for families who send their kids to international schools - due to its proximity and the 'space' in the neighbourhood.
