eye laser operation... asking for advice

Hello there, I would like to ask for your advice regarding eye laser therapy. I would like to undergo such operation. Do you know anything about this, anybody who has gone though this and what the results were? Can you recommend a clinic in Dubai where they do these operations?

It's a serious decision because it regards your eyes. But a few of my friends who have done this, think it's the best thing they did about there eyesight.
But be sure you consult with at least two eye care doctors before taking this important step. There are some things to know, like short-sightedness is easier to cure via laser operation than long-sightedness, and if you diopters are higher (like 9-10 o r more) than it might be a problem and you might have "residual" short-sightedness or long-sightedness, meaning after the operation you will not see perfectly but will still have to wear glasses or contact lenses.
I have a close friend who had it done at Moorfields last year; paid about AED 18,000, but there wwere cheaper options; I think his treatment involved Intralase, or something of this sort. The guy is, to this day, quite happy with the result.
I used Gulf Eye Clinic. Dr. Millicent Grimm. I am happy with her professionalism. I paid about 10,000 dirhams Very impressed. I think he paid about 10,000. I would highly recommend Dr. Grimm (a South African lady doctor).

A friend of mine did it and he suffered from dry eyes for a while; he just used natural tear drops for that. Also when he looks at lights at night there is a sort of halo effect he says around objects.
I guess not everyone can get perfect results.

it has a very high and positive feedback as to the results of the operation.. it be a painless operation, but it really needs a good concentration in doing the operation.. after the process, it may be smart not to stress your eyes out, let it be accustomed to the lighting and environment you're in.
