Any help from a university student in Dubai? I want to know if there are any libraries that provide university books; especially engineering ones.

The Kinokuniya is the best bookshop in the UAE - it is in Dubai Mall.
It's really big, and has a wide range of books on all sorts of specialised subjects.
It is located on the main loop closest to the Fashion Avenue (the round area with all the fashion brands like Prada, Gucci etc), up on the top floor.
For textbooks the biggest collection seems to be at the Al-Mutanabbi bookstore, accross Burjuman, behind Regent Palace Hotel. The entrance is from the aisle next to the Dubai Metro project. It's about overcrowded with heaps of books and stuff, but it's good.
