Well, I would like to ask you all some things about the world-wide issue of the moment, namely about the environment...
I don't particularly believe that some governments throughout the
world are really worried about this issue, just because all of the
disregard they deal with this, as much as I don't think that all the
entrepreneurs all around the world are less interested in profits than
to keep the enviroment safe.
We still live in a world where a billion of people doesn't have
access to drinkable water and two billions don't have basic sanitation;
in the other hand, the water many beer industries spend to make their
products can supply a city with a thousand inhabitants or so.
So tell me! is there anyone really concerned about this issue? Do
you think the whealthy men will resign to losing the profits to keep
the nature alive?
i am sure they will not why not we contribute atleast a buck a day for them in order to fill the ocean with a drop
we might be forgetting that the world is a completely different place today than it was when our grand parents were growing up. growing capitalism, greed (heck even imperialism) has led to many disturbing behaviors such as that with the nature and environment. $$$ always comes first to our leaders as unfortunate as that sounds. just look at what dubai is doing.....i dont think we were ever meant to pollute the water and build land on it. were we?
maybe "capitalism at its worst" is a better way to phrase it. I know capitalism if restrained within some bounds can be a very positive force. By the way,, comunism is not better
