That was a very good idea. to start with, someone with arabic knowledge can initially post one or two words daily with their meaning, pronounciation, image of the word written in arabic etc.

thank u sara for the posting and would expect this everyday(or atleast whenever u find time). if possible please post the arabic letters in a bigger font.
مساء الخير Masaa al-khayr Good evening, the reply is مساء النور Masaa an-nuur (nuur is light)
one of the common methods using which we can get used to arabic language is to hear arabic songs. can anyone post any good site where lots of arabic songs/mp3 can be listened.
Here also if u want u can find the lyrics of the songs http://www.arabiclyrics.net/ , but i reccomend u this http://www.arabicmusictranslation.com/ coz it's having also english translation

U can try also http://www.mazikacafe.com/online/english/index.php?display=latesthits
hi mirkat,
could you suggests songs and links in the website that can be easily understood(mean to say hear and understand words and not the meaning) as if we get used to listen and make the words, then its easy to pick from there for the learning.
it's difficult because when people sing the lines between one word and the next is blurred so it's difficult to hear every word clearly
you can try searching YouTube for Arab Music Karaoke and you might find somerelatively good ones.
maybe this one
or this one for whisch the subtitle are in Arabic (no English letters)
