The "King of Pop," who was preparing for a comeback tour, died Thursday at age 50.
Jackson, under apparent cardiac arrest, was taken from his home by paramedics to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where a team of physicians tried to resuscitate him for more than an hour, said Jackson's brother Jermaine. He said the music idol was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. (5:26 p.m. ET).
Another one of Jackson's six siblings told CNN that he learned of Jackson's death through his manager, Frank Dileo.
"Frank told me that Michael last night was complaining about not feeling well. He called to tell him he wasn't feeling well," Marlon Jackson said. "Michael's doctor went over to see him, and Frank said, 'Marlon, from last night to this morning, I don't know what happened.' When they got to him this morning, he wasn't breathing."

i am far from being his fan or anything, but i do recognize his legacy in the world of music is enormous. not so his financial legacy, though - he died deeply in debt and most probably, from what i heard on the news, his children will inherit nothing at all, unlike elvis presley's family.
now that I had time to look around the web, i even found a post reporting that 'supposedly' the King of Pop dressed in an abaya when he lived in Bahrain. See for yourselves. I tend to believe he might have done something like that, because an abaya with a veil is perfect disguise, and at that point he had been in dire need of privacy and tranquility

i don't think anybody killed him. he killed himself with all those drugs. Very sad/ he's such a tragic figure with such a beautiful beginning.............
I really don't think it matters if he were Christian or Muslim or whatever you wish, nor am I a fan of his, but one thing is for sure - he was a huge success.

To be honest it didnt surprise me - lately he looked very weak. It looks he was given a lot of anxiety drugs for his upcoming tour - some sources say his doctor gave him too much of a drug about an hour before he died.
